This is a "standard" Victorian style door that can be found on numerous old house entrances throughout the midwest. It has split turnings and simple carvings, all of which frame out an upper lite and lower carved panel. We decided to reproduce these doors for some reproduction houses we were building. The original door is 1 3/8" thick and our reproduction is 2 1/4" thick creating a much more substantial entry door.
